Parallel Universe: a personalized comic book gift

In one universe, they became a famous opera singer. In another, they are a pirate. In yet another, they are a fairly content houseplant. This story sends your hero tumbling through a portal into a string of alternate realities, each with a different version of themselves, and they have to team up with all of them to get home. Every panel shows their face, plus several mustached, caped or leafy variations. Feed it their dreams and the career they almost had, and the multiverse gets very personal.

Questions about this comic

Can the alternate worlds be their dream careers?

Yes. The hero questions include their dream, so tell us the career they almost chose or the life they joke about, and the story is written around it. Extra ideas for alternate selves, like 'the version who moved to Paris', fit perfectly in the 'anything special' field.

Will every alternate version still look like them?

The hero looks like the photo on every page, so each version keeps their face, even under a wizard hat. If a panel does not look quite right, you can have that page redrawn in the editor before you order the printed hardcover.
