Boxing Champ: a personalized comic book gift
Your friend shadowboxes in the elevator and calls their Tuesday class 'training camp', so give them a real title fight. This comic puts them in the ring under the bright lights, gloves up, face recognizable on every page right down to the look they give the scale at weigh-in. Expect a training montage, a cornerman with terrible advice and a final round that goes the full slow-motion distance. Comic-book punches only: everybody gets back up, including the hero's pride.

Questions about this comic
Is the fighting violent?
No. The book stays PG-13 at most, with slapstick action. Punches land with big sound effects, but nobody is seriously hurt and there is no gore. It reads like a classic sports comic, not a real fight night.
Can their coach and their gym be in it?
The coach, yes: mention them in your answers along with their terrible advice, and they can be in your hero's corner. Describe the gym too; real business names and logos are left out, so it appears under an invented name.
